AI Engineer

Full time

We are looking for an AI Engineer who can work directly with clients, lead projects and turn data and AI into results people can actually use. This is a client-facing role, so how you communicate matters as much as what you build.

What we are looking for

  • 5+ years in a customer-facing role
  • Proven experience project managing delivery
  • Familiarity with generative AI and data science
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms
  • Working knowledge of SQL databases
Communication and presentation skills are essential. You will spend a lot of time with clients, so the ability to explain complex ideas clearly and present with confidence is at the heart of this role.

Data Science Apprenticeship

9-month programme

Idiro Analytics helps companies transform their data into revenue and growth. We operate at the cutting edge of technology, delivering advanced analytics solutions including machine learning and AI to help companies understand and predict customer behaviour. We are seeking ambitious apprentices to join our team.

The programme

The nine-month programme runs in three stages, with a go or no-go assessment at the end of each. A stipend is paid during stages two and three. Each apprentice is assigned a mentor and receives structured training in areas such as data mining, statistical modelling and practical problem solving. Successful apprentices will be considered for full-time roles.

You will gain experience in data analysis, data engineering, visualisation and AI/ML, including classic techniques such as logistic regression, random forests and SVMs, as well as generative AI. Most project work uses MS Azure or AWS.

What you will learn

  • How data science supports business decisions and real-world problem solving
  • How to work with data from many sources, and to clean, transform and prepare it for modelling
  • Practical machine learning, including supervised and unsupervised methods, feature engineering and model evaluation
  • How to engage with clients and present analysis, outcomes and recommendations with confidence

What we expect

  • You are motivated to develop your skills and take on demanding analytics projects
  • You have experience with Python, SQL and relational databases, and are familiar with Power BI or Tableau
  • You have some knowledge of cloud platforms such as MS Azure or AWS
  • You communicate clearly and work well with others
  • You are eligible to work in the EU
  • Knowledge of Linux is helpful
