Eddie Dillon

Founder and CEO of Credit Logic and former Director of Innovation KBC

Eddie Dillon is Founder & CEO of CreditLogic, a cloud based Digital Lending Platform supported by both Enterprise Ireland and the European Commission. The platform simplifies the application processes of mortgage providers by leveraging open banking, analytics and AI. Prior to founding CreditLogic, he was Director of Innovation for a European Bank with responsibility for Digital Transformation and Innovation across the group. Previously as Commercial Director, he was a member of the leadership team which established and scaled a new Digital First bank in Ireland acquiring of 300,000 customers. Eddie is a chartered accountant having trained with PwC and worked in various corporate finance and advisory positions. He holds an MBA (Vlerick Business School), MSc (Intl Finance; Edinburgh Business School) and a BComm (UCD).

Pete is an advisor, independent director, speaker and podcaster with 25-years experience in capital markets, fintech and advisory that has taken him across the globe. Through Norio Ventures, a specialist advisory firm based in Dublin, Pete partners with fintech founders and enterprise firms to accelerate growth and amplify brands. In short, Pete’s aim is to increase the odds of startup success - for fledgling ventures and within corporate environments. Prior to his life in the wild, Pete was the chief operating officer and global head of product development for a division of BNP Paribas and a director on the board of its Irish franchise for ten years. Pete is also the co-host of Money Never Sleeps, a weekly podcast that looks inside the minds of entrepreneurs and at what makes them do what they do.

Research and innovation development expert located in the FSIC (Financial Services Innovation Centre) in University College Cork as well as being a previous member of the Consumer Advisory Group of the Central Bank of Ireland. The FSIC research centre is part of the Department of Business Information Systems within Cork University Business School. JB is focused on stimulating industry/academic research engagements as well as research funded by the EU Horizon2020 programme and other national and international funding agencies. Developing relationships and engaging in innovative research and/or development projects with companies anywhere in the Financial Services value chain has been the hallmark of the FSIC since its inception.

Geraldine Lavin

Geraldine Lavin is a founding director of 3rd i Ltd. She is a learning and education specialist providing programme design, delivery and evaluation services on business development, innovation, customer experience management and strategy. Through combining a career in third level and working with businesses she merges research-led critical thinking and academic rigor with a solid focus on practical application. She has worked with a range of not-for-profit, public, private and voluntary organisations including Bank of Ireland, DCU Ryan Academy, SOLAS, and CUDA. She has also lectured and completed research projects in a number of third level institutions, including UCD, DCU, Maynooth University, the Institute of Banking, APMI (Hong Kong and Singapore) and CESUGA (Spain). She is currently working with the Small Firms Association to help establish their Skillnet network for SME development and training.
