Vodafone Ireland launched a marketing initiative to identify customers for targeting with a tariff upsell offer – migrating customers from prepaid to billed service. One of our strengths is Social Network Analysis, the branch of analytics that deals with influence and how it spreads in a network. We created an influence model to predict the mobile users most likely to accept the new offer. The target list we obtained resulted in an upsell campaign, delivering a 69% higher success rate than the telco’s standard targeting.
